The Parker family has owned and managed Coastal Marine since 2017.

Wendy
Sales Manager

Wendy appreciates nature and spending time outside.  She grew up fishing and hunting and enjoyed helping her dad and grandfather work on cars, outboards, and piddling out back in the ‘shop’.   She never guessed that long-ago education about throttle bodies and flywheels was more valuable than the nice Bachelor’s of Science in Biology she received at Hardin Simmons University.

Grant
Service Manager

Grant’s previous career as an electrical engineering consultant, primarily with designing small electronics for down hole equipment left him cooped up in an office and at a computer all day.  Seeking a change of scenery and a more active lifestyle, he embarked on a new set of challenges that often involves a customer making ‘sick motor’ noises over the phone.  Grant graduated top of his engineering class at Texas Tech with Bachelor’s of Science degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Carol
Customer Service & Carburetors

Carol is a retired teacher that loves to read and travel.  Originally planning to fill her days volunteering at a local school, it became clear there was a need at the family business.  Carol completed online carburetor classes to meet the demand for carb cleaning and also serves as front counter specialist where she greets customers with her bright smile.  Carol graduated from the University of Kansas with a Music Therapy degree.

Dennis
Grounds & Facilities Maintenance

Dennis loves to fish.  Dennis also really likes his Honda and Tohatsu engines.   Dennis is the idea behind the Parker family at Coastal Marine.  He brought us together in this effort.  Dennis has a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Kansas and spent 32 years with Phillips/Conoco Phillips.  Thanks Dennis!
